Send a test message to verify the connection

After connecting Slack, send a test message to confirm everything works.

Steps

1. Go to Integrations in Attributed.
2. Find your Slack row.
3. Click Send test.

You should see a message in the destination channel within a few seconds, formatted exactly like a real finding alert.

If the test fails

• Check the bot is a member of the channel (private channels require manual invite: type /invite @Attributed in the channel).
• Check the channel still exists and hasn't been archived.
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting Slack.
