Slack
Severity thresholds and trigger types explained
Control which findings get posted to Slack using severity and trigger settings.
Severity thresholds and trigger types explained
Each Slack destination has two controls that decide which alerts get posted.
Severity threshold
Findings have a severity: low, medium, or high. The threshold is the minimum severity that will post.
| Threshold | Posts |
|---|---|
low | low + medium + high |
medium | medium + high |
high | high only |
Default: medium. Most teams keep it there.
Trigger types
You can independently enable or disable two trigger types:
- finding — posts when an agent surfaces a new finding.
- pack — posts when Forge assembles a new Implementation Pack.
By default both are on. Turn off finding if you only want Pack-ready work in Slack.
How to change
- Integrations → Slack row.
- Click any severity to set the threshold.
- Click finding or pack to toggle the trigger.
Changes apply immediately to future alerts. Past alerts are not re-sent.
