Choose which channel receives alerts

The channel is set during the Add to Slack flow. To send alerts to a different channel, disconnect the current one and reconnect, selecting the new channel.

Steps

1. Go to Integrations in Attributed.
2. On the existing Slack row, click Disconnect.
3. Click Add to Slack again.
4. On the Slack authorisation screen, pick the new channel from the Post to dropdown.
5. Click Allow.

We're working on inline channel switching so you won't need to reconnect. Until then, the reconnect flow is the supported path.

Tips

• Use a dedicated channel (e.g. #attributed-alerts) so the noise stays contained.
• For private channels, make sure the Attributed bot has been added to the channel after install.
