Disconnect Slack from Attributed

How to remove the Slack integration and what happens to your data.

Disconnect Slack from Attributed

You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting is immediate and stops all future Slack messages.

Steps

  1. Go to Integrations in Attributed.
  2. Find your Slack row.
  3. Click Disconnect.

That removes the connection from our side. The bot remains installed in your Slack workspace until a workspace admin removes it there.

To fully remove the app from Slack

  1. In Slack, click your workspace name → Settings & administrationManage apps.
  2. Find Attributed in the list.
  3. Click it, then Remove app.

What we delete

When you disconnect, we delete the bot token, the channel ID and the destination settings from our database. We do not retain copies of messages we previously sent to your channel — those live in Slack and follow your Slack retention policy.
